Through his music Stelvio Cipriani has tried to give body and sensibility to the symphony that the works of the great artists of the Renaissence have continued to express through the centuries. The works in question are those of the Vatican. The artists are among the greatest that history of mankind has ever produced; it is enough to cite just two names, Mchelangelo and Raphael. In the music of Cipriani the old and new are fused together in modulations of profound consonance.
