Cinevox Record releases a special double cd containing all soundtracks composed by Stelvio Cipriani for the famous trilogy which includes the movies La polizia sta a guardare (1973 – Roberto Infascelli), La polizia chiede aiuto (1974 –Massimo Dallamano), La polizia ha le mani legate (1975 – Luciano Ercoli).
The box represents a homage from Cinevox Record to the great composer, who recently passed away. It is dedicated not only to the eurocrime fans but also to the ones who are interested in approaching the genre and M° Cipriani’s work for the first time.
The double cd includes 109:56 minutes of music from the original recording sessions masters and, as bonus tracks, all the singles which were released by Cinevox Record on 45rpm at the time. It is also possible to listen to a short take of Stelvio Cipriani’s voice from the recording sessions.
The suspensive themes, the use of guitar and harpsichord and the afro and funky echoes permit to enter a precise musical and cinematic spirit and a peculiar era which Stelvio Cipriani lived as a protagonist.
